Professional and Educational Background
Sarah King has 6 years working with adolescents, children, and adults in a variety of treatment settings including wilderness therapy, crisis and community health, and in the school system. Sarah holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Colorado State University and a Bachelors in Social Work from Utah State University. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Washington State. Sarah is currently finishing up her certification to become a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist. She specializes in working with early childhood trauma, anxiety, and depression. She works from an interpersonal neurobiology perspective and combines clinical knowledge, educational frameworks, along with concentrating on physiological patterning and nervous system functioning. She believes in an authentic and warm client led approach, that includes neuroscience and connection to the body.
