John Faust is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Masters Degree in Psychology from Antioch University Seattle and a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from St. Cloud State University. Over the past 19 years, John has worked in a variety of mental health settings including outpatient clinics and hospitals in Washington, Arctic Alaska, Minnesota, and Oregon.
John believes that the trust and rapport developed between therapist and client are paramount for growth. He provides individual therapy to adults to support breaking free from old thoughts, behaviors and feelings that are no longer useful, and support individuals as they move toward a balanced, sustainable, authentic life.
John’s therapeutic method is grounded in evidence-based practices that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Neuro-Informed therapies. His approach is non-judgmental, client-centered and focused on developing strategies to achieve your identified goals.

John was born and raised in Minnesota. He’s been a Washington resident for the past 15 years. He enjoys mountain biking the PNW, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
