Professional and Educational Background
I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Washington. I am a trauma-
informed therapist, trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR),
Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindful
Self-Compassion. I have spent my adult life working in various non-profit settings and
have experience supporting individuals across the human lifespan.
My Philosophy
I believe having a safe, trustworthy, non-judgmental space is essential for you to
explore your emotions and patterns of thoughts, beliefs, relationships, and behaviors
that may be impacting your quality of life. Meeting your mental wellness goals will be a
collaborative process where you will be met with compassion. I hold a goal-oriented
therapy philosophy and creatively use evidence-based approaches to assist you with
your specific therapy goals. Together we can identify and create therapy goals as I
invite you to imagine the kind of life you want to live. I wholeheartedly believe you are
worthy of love, safety, belonging, joy, and goodness.
