Donna Bergman is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Masters Degree in Psychology from Antioch University Seattle and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington. She has lived in remote areas of Alaska and Oregon providing therapy services to underserved communities. She has 18 years of experience in counseling, providing service to individuals, children, elders, and families in a variety of settings.
Donna works to understand your frame of reference, experiences, and thoughts as a way to identify what might be driving you to think and act in ways that no longer serve you and may be interfering with your confidence and ability to manage the demands of life. Change is a courageous choice and Donna feels honored to be a part of an individuals growth, self-discovery, and freedom from outdated beliefs and habits.
Donna’s approach to counseling is collaborative, client-centered and supportive; anchored in evidenced-based theoretical modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Neuro-Informed therapy techniques to promote change.
